DC Comics is an American comic book company that is owned by Warner Bros. who are owned by WarnerMedia. They're creators of the DC Universe, which involves a plethora of different super powered beings, like Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern. The company is currently run by Geoff Johns.
DC Super Hero Girls[]
In April 2015, it was announced that DC Comics had agreed to partner with Mattel to launch a new universe aimed at girls aged 7-12. This universe features teenage versions of popular DC heroines and villainesses, in an attempt to try and get girls into comics. DC should be handling all the digital content and the movies as well helping Mattel to get the look and feel of the franchise correct.
