The title of this episode is based off of the fable The Boy Who Cried Wolf.
Summary[]
On a monitor in the Super Hero High School cafeteria, Frost is announced as the Hero of the Month. Watching it at her table, Cheetah spits out her milk in shock, deplores how Frost got the award before her and slams the table in frustration. She then gets the idea to stage crimes so that she can save the day and win the Hero of the Month award.
In the school hallway, a Save the Day Alarm goes off and Cheetah arrogantly pushes her way between Bumblebee and Supergirl to answer it. At Capes & Cowls Café, a robber wearing a purple wig and a trench coat points a pop gun at Steve Trevor, and attempts to rob the café. After she pushes a lock of her real hair back into her wig, Cheetah bursts into the café proclaiming that she'll save him and calling him a peasant. She jumps in front of the robber and pretends to punch her. The robber pretends to be hit and surrenders. As the robber leaves, Wonder Woman arrives at the café and confronts her for messing with her friend Steve. The robber's wig accidentally comes off revealing it to be Harley in disguise. She then admits that it was Cheetah's idea.
Later, a giant robot rampages through Metropolis. Cheetah then arrives to confront the robot. As she jumps on the robot and begins scaling up its leg, Supergirl, Wonder Woman and Batgirl arrive on the scene and Supergirl ponders how Cheetah arrived at the scene so quickly. Cheetah begins punching the robot's leg, and a remote drops out of her jacket and lands in front of the three heroes. Batgirl picks it up, and learns that it is used to control the robot. Batgirl pushes a button that makes the robot grab Cheetah, who attempts to pretend the remote isn't hers and that she did not build the robot. As she tries to persuade Batgirl to push a green button to let her go, the irritated friends turn around and walk away. As she leaves, Batgirl tosses the remote behind her, leaving Cheetah trapped in the robot's hand.
Subsequently, Lady Shiva, Hawkgirl and Starfire read in the Student Lounge as Cheetah bursts in to tell them that Solomon Grundy is attacking the Senior Center. Her classmates dismiss her, believing it to be another staged crime. The Cheetah then proclaims that she will stop Grundy herself. At the Senior Center, Grundy recites his namesake nursery rhyme, as frightered seniors slowly run out of the building. The Cheetah then enters the building and sees a ball of yarn on the lap of old woman sleeping in a wheelchair. She uses the yarn to create a lasso to tie up Grundy. Grundy then explains that he just wanted to recite a poem for the Senior Centre's open mic night. Frustrated, Cheetah frees him and tells him that she will get him next time as he walks away. Cheetah then says that she can't be Hero of the Month without an audience.
